Root Chakra

The Sanskrit word for this chakra is Muladhara. It is located at the base of the spine and deals with safety and security. It is symbolized by the color red and ruled by Saturn. This chakra is associated with the reproductive system, pelvis, legs, and feet. Root chakra foods are red and proteins. It rules smell.

Sacral Chakra

The Sanskrit word for this chakra is Svadhisthana. It is located below the belly button and deals with sex, relationships, and emotions. It is symbolized by the color orange and ruled by the moon. This chakra is associated with the abdomen, spleen, urinary tract, kidneys, testes, ovaries, and uterus. Sacral chakra foods are orange and liquid. It rules taste.

Solar Plexus Chakra
